I am interested in super charging my 2005 C6 auto trans. How does the stock trans hold up? General input on this application much appreciated

Most guys have been fine with mid 500's, but these A4 trannys can be rebuilt to hold some pretty high horse power, as stated above... It's just part of the game...

I had the stock tranny in my car for a long time before anything went wrong. I had 520 RWHP with my P series Procharger and drove around town pretty hard. I even tracked the car with the stock tranny and was able to get 12,000+ miles on it. (2 trips from FL. to CT. was 5,000 of them). Andy's new promotion for the basic set-up is a perfect way for the new guy to get into supecharging without getting his hands dirty. Just keep it at 500 RWHP and you'll be fine. By the time the tranny goes bad you will be ready for your forged LS7 engine to go in and put down 1000RWHP. Then you will need a stronger tranny anyway.

Are you satisfied with the American Raciing headers? Are they the long tube set? I have a shop here in San Diego that swears by them. Small shop with Dyno he installs and provides before and after runs. He likes the workmen ship and the results. I believe he said 30 to 35 RWH after install

You have an A4 so if you do not launch with sticky tires it should hold up pretty good. Best part is if it does not hold up, who cares, you can buy an excellent RPM level 5 A4 tranny and never have to worry about it again. I can't wait till the A6 is finally available. I am ready to purchase now.

We have had customers like 2003VETT who have made over 200 passes on their stock A4 with over 500rwhp, although no one can guarantee, you should be fine.
