Default Thanks Chuck COW!

Thanks Chuck! Car works perfect and runs great. I had a problem with the trans stuck in 4th gear after a cam/email tune and I am NOT knocking Vengeance (mail order tuner) but with time as a main concern, I thought Chuck was the better choice to send the ECM to since he also tuned the TCM. I was worried of sending it to Vengeance for correction and then needing to send it to Chuck for some reason.

Chuck stopped what he was doing in his shop, took my ECM on the very same day he recieved it , corrected a tuning error that caused the car to stay in 4th, then called me at 11pm to let me know he fixed it and then he overnighted it to me the very next morning. Car started right up and runs like an animal!

I don't think he could have done any better, I am that thankful and impressed. I will do plenty of business in the future with Vegeance but I really wanted to thank Chuck for his hard work with a quick, very quick turn around.

Vengeance, the cam is awesome! I still need another 200rwhp though!

Now my simple mods are

Vararam
Ported TB
Ported LS2
Kooks 1 7/8's
3"x 3" Offroad X
Vengeance LS3 cam
PP Valve springs
25% UD pulley
A6 tune
ECM tune
160 thermostat

Its getting pretty quick. My Cobra would poop all over it but I still have a few mods to go.

Vengeance LS3 heads
Portworks LS3 intake
ARP head studs
150-200 shot

Then, if its still not quick enough, Im going with a 402-427. Who knows.

I will try to meet up with Chuck for a dyno tune once I get it complete.

Don't be so sure about the Cobra pooping on your LS3. What year? How much rwhp?

Any dyno numbers on the LS3?

Well Im not so sure when my mods are complete, if there is such a thing as complete mods.

My car is not an LS3, its an 06 LS2 with Vengeance LS3 cam, soon to be ported LS3 heads/intake.

I only need to trap 134 to beat my old car so anything above that, Im happy.

I was wondering what you thought of your tune, I hadn't heard anything from you yet. Glad you like it, I told you you would.

yeah, the car is real fun to drive now, especially after the Vararam/tune with this cooler weather. It's kind of scary at times! I don't have a very good SOTP meter, but I do know something changed.

Now we just have to wait for him to come to the midwest so he can touchup the tunes. I guess he's planing on coming to St. Louis, but I would rather wait till he comes a bit closer. Maybe I'll just take a ride out to his shop sometime next summer if he hasn't made it to Chicago by then.
