I had my LS3 throttle body and intake ported and then Dyno tuned. Only picked up 3 HP. I don't think its needed on the LS3. Money could be better spent! I'ts another story on my 06 LS2. I picked up about 7HP on a bolt on car.

Great Info......!!!! What I love to see, someone with objective data vs the famous buttometer dyno. If an engine is getting enough air, it's getting enough air.
My assumption the engine is basically stock with bolt-ons. Perhaps on an engine more heavily modded, you might see more as they require more air.
my cars build will be as follows, 228-238cam w 608 lift on 114, ls7 manifolds, heads cut down .030, ewp, stock muffs w/cut outs and 125 dry shot. if it gives a little up top im buying for the cost. i will also send my intake off my camaro w ls2 l76 combo. anyone had good luck porting this intake?
any more updates on this? I am wondering in view of the recent imformation on the upcoming Fast and Weiand Street Warrior LX are looking like they are going to add very little to a mostly stock( no cam ) LS3
