Default I have #s before Spin!!

Ok, well not final numbers but close. Spinmonster and I are racing to see who's blower gets together first. I had a huge head start but do to unforseen issues, namely a sick dyno operator, and about a thousand other things I fell way behind. I got some initial pulls today. Car made 750/648 on 9psi. Fueling still off.

For those crunching numbers it was with a stock fuel system, just a BAP, 4.10s and 20" wheels, no meth or other injection.

More to follow. There is a lil more in her at this psi but not much.

Oh, that was on 91 octane by the way. Nothing better here. I figure I should tune it for what's available.

I haven't seen the sheet yet, but I hope the lil stroker makes close to 500 ft/lbs by 3k. Holy crap indeed!

Numbers are a lil low but I wasn't trying to set records. Spin and I just want to feel like we did at sea level. This should do

I'll ask you a dumb question... what would you say if you made 1000 HP on the Dyno, & got beat by a car that mad 460 HP on the Dyno...

Dyno #'s don't mean ANYTHING unless you can get that HP to the track to run a good ET and MPH...

I can have a Dyno operator show you making 900 HP but your car will still be a slug on the track if it just spins those 20" or 22" rear tires..

Either you are a "Bling" person all show.... or a racer who really wants to RUN good #'s As for me I'll take a pass on the 20" wheels and go with 16" and a good tire so I can look at you in my rear-view mirror as you just sit & spin...

However maybe you may be onto something, and be the first 20" tire to run 10s... :d good luck!!

Thanks for the tips. I guess you don't know me.

Lets not make this into a my dyno guy made all this up thread. I'm very well aware of dyno hype and stupid numbers don't mean anything. I'm the least bling person on earth. Please don't publically attack me without knowing who I am or what I stand for. Perhaps you should take the chance to know me and you would realize I've said the same things you have, although at a more appropriate time, many times before. I'm not trying to brag, my numbers are not even done, nor are they all that impressive. Nuff said.

If you still feel the need to be a big man Dr Horsepower, please PM me and we'll take this to the track. Just be careful what you wish for.

Oh, the 20s are street wheels. However, if you want a pass with them on I think I can still do better than 12.1. Lol a guy in the 12s is callin me out.

John, I don't drive a Supra. Those dyno queens make 1200 hp and run 11s if they make it down in one piece.

Please take everything I said with a humorus tone. I'm being kinda funny, sometimes its tough to see that in type.

I agree with what you're saying but I feel you're barking up the wrong tree. AintQik knows exactly what he's doing and it's not for dyno bragging rights. We're all happy you have built a solid consistant set up but there's no need to drag other people's accomplishments down.

AintQik, any estimates what your numbers could/would be at sea level or is that factored in already?

The numbers are corrected. Sea level I'd make more boost and have to retune. Dyno is hooked to a weather machine and the numbers are what they are. These guys could care less what the car makes, standard correction factors.

Thanks for backin me up K. John has a very valid point, one Spin and I both make very often to people. He just doesn't know me that's all.

By the way, the blower will make almost 20psi. If I wanted to make something to impress the internet I'm a head change away. However, it will be ultimately useless as J points out. I could, no kidding, put down over 1000 rwhp and probably only have to change heads, gaskets and fuel system to be safer.

Congratulations on some very impressive numbers!

Would you mind posting some more details on the setup... And maybe a dyno sheet and some driving impressions?
Man, my car feels so fast at 600whp, I cant even imagine what it would be like with 750... Does it hook up full throttle before 4rth gear?

Since my brother RJ has chosen to take it easy, I will too.

First, RJ doenst walk around with the chip often carried by guys with his experience. The number of 9 sec cars he has owned exceeds most tuners. Second, calling someone Mr. Bling and not knowing him is pretty tall. The guy you are insulting and I have done about as much free service to this forum than any other 100 people combined. Get to know some people here before you bash the good guys.

As for talking to him like he is an idiot.....everything on that car including the forged motor, trans, and blower were all installed all by himself.

There is no way to win.

Je ne vous comprar pas.

The flip side to what you say is showing a time slip done with a tire you never run on the street and having a 13 second nearly stock car you brag about.

Just to keep the peace, please be aware that there is no reason we cant get along and I am sure the possibility is there that there was no disrespect intended on your part. I have no issue with you and hope you want the same info sharing and friendly forum we want. That said, hello. (the new Spin)

You may have your car completed first but I think I will be able to drive mine before you ever see your's.

RJ is in Cali doing the Air Force thing and I will likely fire mine up tomorrow.

Saturday will have two cars as different as black and white at the local car get-together. It will be a good sight to behold at the end of the night when we line up on the way home (on a closed course route of course)

I have stunning beauty and intelligence and he has youth and bling.

Air Force thing?

Hell, I'm doing that thing. Where's my blown 404 and IForged 20's? Haha. Congrats on the numbers though. I envy you guys back in the US. Looking forward to hearing your results as well, Spin.

Keep in mind this car is at a high elevation. In all reality he is probably making about 600-615 actual rwhp at his elevation. So as it sits his car is about the same power level as yours. The correction factor at high elevation is no different for a N/A car as to a F/I car. So the corrected numbers tend to run a little on the high side. 18% correction would be the norm for a N/A setup at 5200' elevation and with forced induction it should be about 12% or so, but on the dyno it does not know what the car has.

Your right.... I do owe him an apoligy... I had a bad day at home, and just took it out here, (this is not the place to bring my problems from home) I know I was offensive, and the best I can do is say "I'm sorry"

It won't happen again not just to you but to any poster... If it was "RJ" who I jumped on, & insulted... RJ please accept my apoligy... I was having a bad day, & in hindsight probably should have stayed OFF the forum altogether!!
