Exhaust Sound
Which aftermarket exhaust system would take my TT C6 far away from a muscle car sound? I am looking more for a tuner or tuned sound something like the sound of a Maserati. Would Corsa be the closest.

Not an attack on you, but you bought an American Muscle Car now you are trying to make sound like a tuner/tuned car? Not sure what that means as that reference pretty much went to the Ricers.
If you don't want that muscle car sound then stay with the stock exhaust as it is quiet and pretty much was the major disappointment to most of us that bought the Corvette expecting more of that muscle car sound.

I laugh (NOT at the OP) but how different people want different sounds, & for various reasons...
Example some here want the big lope of a "Cammed Car" others want the sound of Bullet Mufflers, etc...etc..
Take me, When I bought my car I was short a few $$ my wife offered to pay the difference BUT I couldn't make it into a RACE CAR My 96 had no mufflers, skinny wheels, 3.73 gages etc..
Now my only intent now is to run 11.5 index class... the car is stock with the exception of Vararam intake & a Tune, nothing else, its run 12.11 so I have to pick up 6-7 tenths WITHOUT HER KNOWING
So here's my plan,. a 3200 converter, 3.42 rear, a good set of headers, (the rest of the exhaust will remain stock, maybe a ZO6 muffler set) if need be I'll have to go to a ported intake or a FAST intake...
I'm "Hoping" those will get me to be able to run 11.5 without her knowing I did "ANYTHING" to the car... so when she rides in it it will sound dead stock..the ride will be the same, and she can listen to the CD player. and never know the difference

Try looking at forums for other cars like a Maserati - maybe they will tell you what aftermarket exhausts they are using and what will sound most like their's. If you like that sound, why not?
