no...it was the R/T, the Hemi 5.7 liter. It didn't have the R/T stripe option, the guy opted for the hemi badges instead. Besides, the V6 gets nowhere near 14 sec in the 1/4, the SRT8 only hits 13's and the R/T stock should be high 13's to mid 14's, this guy ran a 14.0.
I'm surprised he ran that fast. He was forever getting out of the hole and that thing easily weighs at least 800 pounds more with a lot less horsepower.

My bad i thought they ony came with 1 v8 SRT and 1 v6 RT
Thats hilarious, I have never seen someone leave a car in reverse at the strip. He must of been a newbie at it. In any case its also sorta funny that the new challengers are not running any faster than they did nearly 38 years ago when they were new with the 340's, 383, or 440 cars. Where as the Corvette has a huge improvement over their old school brothers.
