Default Sand collecting in Borla Stinger tips-Normal?

Installed new stingers two weeks ago and love them. I noticed they collect a lot of dust/dirt/ light sand inside the tips. It covers an inch or so of length and is 1/8" or so wide in each tip. Wipe it out before a ride and its back after ride. Anyone else experience this?

The back of the Corvette's (C5 and C6) tend to have a lot of dirt accumulation due to the aero of the car itself. I have to spend a lot more time on the back of my car as far as over all cleaning and wax apposed to the rest of it.

Use a good metal polish, and keep them clean so that the dirt does not become 'burnt' onto the tips and they will stay looking great for years to come.
