Bluetooth steering wheel controls
I just had my radio/Nav unit replaced in my 2009 Vette about one week ago due to the fact that it would not read the Navdiscs. Well the Nav unit is working just fine now, but the bluetooth buttons on the steering wheel do not function. Obviously, I have to make another appointment to bring it in again, but does anyone know if the radio/nav unit will need to be pulled out for a second time or is this new issue unrelated? I believe it is related because one of the steering wheel bluetooth buttons also acts as mute button for the radio, and that does not work either. I'm thinking something wasn't hooked up correctly. I do receive phone calls and can make phone calls while speaking over the car's system, but I must use the buttons on my cell phone vice the steering wheel to answer and discontinue these calls. Without those buttons operating properly, I can't pair any more phones to the system. I'm having a love-hate relationship with the electronics in this car. Any thoughts?
