My build is a 2006 A6 Corvette Coupe. I will be running a Maggie mp112, Bassani Headers with high flow cats, Bassani AFT cat system with built in X pipe, and either AFR 205's 65cc OR Edelbrock 214's Xtreme rpm cylinder heads 65 cc. And also a Yank 3200 stall converter. I'm also considering either a Crane 1.8 quick lift rocker or the Yella Terra shaft mount rockers. Not sure which to go with. There is a big price difference between these two rocker arms.

My goal is atleast 550rwhp 600 rwtq. and a mid 10 second E.T. I need some suggestions on a cam. I was thinking of something around 232/240 117 LSA .551/.551 lift. If I use the Crane rocker with a 1.8 ratio that increases that .551 lift to .589. I'm not sure about the Yella Terra rockers. Some suggestions would be great.

A bigger cam on a maggie blown LS2 doesn't necessarily mean more power. My experience is on an LQ4 which is a lower compression version of the LS2. The bigger cam just moved the power band up a little. Similar power, just at a higher RPM. The limiting factor is the maggie's abiilty to move air. With a bigger cam, you lose a little boost, but you make it up on the top end. If you're interested in a whole lot more than 500rwhp, you might look into an mp122 blower. It's a step up from the 112, but not a quantum leap.

More suggestions please. What are the main differences between the Crane roller rockers and the Yella Terra shaft mount rockers? Theres a pretty big price difference and the Yella Terra rockers seem like the would make the valve train more stable than a roller rocker.

<------ I would contact ECS about a combination to reach your goals. They are a sponsor here <---------

The Crane rockers are a true shaft mount system while the YT are really just two 'paired' rockers joined at the fulcrum. The Crane system will be inherently more stable, take more time to install, and will need taller valve covers or spacers to fit, the YT fit under the stock cover.

The Crane system is 'Sportman' setup and is priced and functions accordingly. It's not top shelf, more a very good middle ground. There are more costlier systems than the Crane, more suited to competitive racing.

If you want the better of the two then go with the Crane, it is a very nice set and comes complete to install w/instructions. The camshaft design will ultimately decide the rocker used.

Call the Magnacharger folks. They have no financial interest is what cam or rocker arms you use. They know what works with their blowers and what doesn't. Talk to Brian. He's knowledgeable and won't steer you in the wrong direction. 805.642.8833

Even using a 122 blower he can't push the envelope too much without risking engine failure with cast pistons. Some time ago a guy came in with a new 07 M6 coupe which I installed his Maggie kit onto. Installing a small LPE GT11 cam netted me just shy of 500hp to the wheels with about 5 PSI of boost. After a year goes by we installed smaller pulley supplied by Callaway and the result was about 525 to 530 with just shy of 8 PSI. The car drives with stock drivability with a small hint of a cam lope, nothing like what it will be with a larger 232/240 cam.
