Default Bog during boost

Hi guys, need a little help. I am also posting this in the FI section.

I have a Vortech supercharger on a C6 with LG headers and running about 6psi boost with a 4.5 in pulley so the car is pretty safe putting down about 500rwhp.

The problem I am noticing sometimes is when I am in 2nd or 3 gear (A6) and into boost, the car will pull hard for a while and then all of a sudden, it will bog.

It used to happen once in a while but now it is happening more often.

Can someone tell me what to look for? At first I thought I was over rev the engine and hit the rev limiter but I noticed I was only at 5800-6000rpm when it happened last time.

It also happens a lot when I get into boost but then back off. Is this normal to bog when I back off while in boost?

I am going to get my tuner to look at his tune (HP) but he is under the weather right now.

Thanks for any help.

Default Belt Slip

Maybe your belt is slipping. Check for very fine black dust around the brackets. Wipe off clean, take it out and run hard, come back and check for dust again.

I don't think the belt is slipping because I am getting 6.3-7psi boost which is normal for my car however I will do what you suggested and check it out. Thanks

You could be maxing out your mass air meter. There is a patch through HP tunes that might help, but you really need a 2bar SD tune.
