Is there any way a 320rwhp (centrifigal on 8psi) S2K with no more than 250rwtq can hang with a stock 6spd LS2 from a 40 roll? (On the track, of course)
This local guy claimed he stayed with an LS3 and I called him on it.

Cheers,

Go from a dig. The S2k loves to rev and if he's in his powerband from a roll it could be a tuff race for you. With a good launch your torque should get you a nice lead that hopefully you'll be able to keep for the whole run. Depending on when you shut down.
I would say no. I used to race a friend's supercharged S2k at a track in Hawaii, and I was in a 2.0 turbocharged Subaru WRX. I was always slightly faster and he had a ton of high-dollar parts on the car. I've driven his car and it wouldn't even come close to a C6 imho. He wound up turbocharging it later after building the block up so it might be faster now.

It might jump out to a lead as 40mph in 2nd gear in the S2000 is right in his powerband. The C6 will eventually catch it and walk away probably at 80 mph or so. Best I could manage in my 310whp SC S2000 was around low 13 second 1/4.
If it is a Z51 C6 that will negate some of the S2000 gearing advantage at that speed.
Either way, the C6 driver would ahve to be sleeping to lose.
