My last post was about 2005 C6 not starting. Doors did not open. I bought a new battery and now the doors open and lights work, no radio and windows dont work, but worst of all, the car still does not start. Any idea? Battery for Key Fob? More significant electrical problems? Reset something? Any ideas? Help. Thanks
Thanks, but I believe its more to it than that. Since I am not at the site, my wife told me they tested the battery we brought in and it was indeed dead. Not sure if they tested the new battery in front of her or not. But, looks like it will be towed tomorrow to a chevy dealer. unfortunately we cant get it out of PARK. I wonder how the flat bed tow will get it on the flat bed? - Hope they dont want to drag it up the flat bed.. Ack!
Sorry I was not thinking what the ACC mode was on the 'ignition switch'. And, no it's my wife's car and she is out of town calling me on the phone that her 'baby' wont start.
Some new batteries need charging. A volt meter across the battery should read more than 9.5 volts while it's cranking or trying to start. If it's below that it needs to be charged.
