Default Dynojet vs Mustang dyno

What is the differance in horsepower between the two. I've heard you add 15%,12%,20% to the Mustang dyno. What exactly is the differance? thanks

I'm not sure why but I'm seeing them close or the other way,
but the Dyno Jet is a 4 wheel model and is tough to spin.
I'll have more data real soon. I was just 542hp best 478 tq on the Dyno Jet. Where I spun the wheels 518 492 Heading for the Mustang where last spin was 515, is going to be hopefully 560 plus with things right!
could be more as I spun on my best run.

Different dynos are calibrated differently but any abitrary number you multiply your results for in an attempt to make them equal to a different dyno is a guess at best.
The general guideline is that Mustang dynos read lower than Dynojets. How much lower depends on the dyno. The best way to make sense of your numbers is to ask what a stock C6 and a stock C6 Z06 put down on that particular dyno.

if u want dyno numbers to compare on the internet, just use a dynojet

mustang dynos are weird for comparison sake but great for tuning

I think this makes the best of comparing....I'm not sure it is the correct way, it eliminates the calibration issue.
