Default exhaust rumble

I have a 1996 Z28 LT1 and it sounds much better than my 05 vette. Any exhaust suggestions? I do not want it real loud ,just a more powerful rumble. Thanks

Exhaust sounds are very subjective. I have LG pro longtubes with high flow cats and a cam that has a lumpy idle. I had to repace my Corsa's with the stock mufflers because for my taste it was too loud. The car now has a very healthy deep sound that was not there when the car was stock. Headers really did change the sound of the system.

Default I like the rumble on my '06 Z51..........

..........with Magnaflow mufflers using the stock exhaust and tips. A little rumble at part throttle, a roar when you get on it above 3000 rpm, and no drone unless you accelerate from under 2000 rpm in 4th, 5th, or 6th. $350 or so installed!

If you are looking at a nice rumble, Id go with our 5x8x14" muffler. It will give you a nice deep bassy tone. The link is listed below. Scroll Down to the 5x8" mufflers.

sell the vette, you do know that your lt1 has a different firing order and thats why they sound different than an LS2

Deep rumble comes with cabin drone. Bullets are probably best.

Default Try Corsa Sports

I was unimpressed with stock exhaust sound also. I put on a set of Quad Tipped Corsa Sports and could not be happier.

I agree on the magnaflow, but i have the 14336 part number, which is a 4x9 oval.... here are 2 video clips...the first one with Z06 manifolds/mid/hpipe and 14366 mufflers, and the 2nd one is with the addition of the Fast 92 mm intake added.

It had more drone without the fast, but not bad...only when you lug the motor and should be in a lower gear.

Now with the fast, the Drone is almost completely gone, as the throttle response is a little better, so it doesnt lug the engine much.
