Improved Under Hood Light
The stock underhood light is handy. It provides light where the hood blocks my garage light. But I believed the technology of the Z06 deserved a proportionate improvement. So I installed these LED strings. They have less glare on the eyes, gives much more light, and the light is evenly distributed.
OK, here's the how to: Drilled and wire-tied the LED strings onto the hood struts. Took the UHL lamp out and relocated it, which contains the switch. Soldered wires in there and soldered all wires together. Took about an hour.
