Default C6 Storage-battery

New C6 went from dealer to storage - no road time. Currently on a battery charger (DieHard) w/maintain mode capabilities. Any concern on overheating/overcharge? What if I set a timer so the charger was only on for specific times and length of charge?

Get a Battery Tender Plus. Only way to fly.

I wouldn't use that other charger for long term. Probably work fine, but the Battery Tender Plus is a no brainer, plug it in and leave it. Years and years of countless people using the Tenders with excellent results, can't go wrong with that.

Don't mess with timers. The Battery Tender is a plug it in and leave it deal.

Battery will need to be charged regularly even if it is disconnected. At room temp battery will self discharge at about 10% a month, lower temps will slow discharge higher temps will speed up discharge. If battery sits for extended periods in a discharged state it will sulfate, lose most if not all of its capacity. A totally discharged battery will freeze in winter and the case could break leaving a major mess when it thaws.
