I can't tell from the pictures, but can you remove the lower chamber to empty it while it's still attached?
I have the EE catch can and it is the only one I have experience with. It is very well manufactured. However, I have had the following experience with it. It needs to be unscrewed to empty, which given the close quarters, it can be difficult to get realligned properly to put back on. This results in having to be real cautious not to cross thread. I have started to use antiseize on the threads to keep them from seizing up. I have had a couple of occasions where I needed to empty the can while the engine was hot and the can was difficult to unscrew. I have had occasions where the cap for the internal condensing screen has come unscrewed and been laying in the bottom of the can when I open it up.
Elite products are very well made so don't let my experience deter you.
Follow up. The model I have is several years old. I helped a friend with his install today and noticed several changes which appear to help. The newer can is shorter than the version I have. Additionally a spacer was included with his. Both of these have helped move the can forward away from the engine block and away from several of the hoses.
I don't have any problem with unscrewing it while attached. I installed it with that in mind. The bracket allows a lot of flexibilty and adjustment when you install it to put the can in a position where unscrewing can be done.
