Default Billet Prototypes or Elite Engineering Catch Can?

I think I'm down to buying one of these two oil seperator cans. Anyone have experience with either that could give me some feedback? I think it's nice that the BP piece has a filter on the intake and exhaust but it looks to have a smaller canister. Any other pros and cons that I shold consider?
Thanks in advance

Designed, tested, and built specifically on the LSx engine, we have had nothing but great success with our Catch Cans. In order for a Catch Can to perform correctly, the inlet must have enough volume to effectively condense the oil vapor without creating too much pressure drop across the inlet and exit. Our design has been proven to do just that.

I have Elite Engineerings Catch Can. Works as advertised. Great Product. Looks great and does a great job of condencing the atomized Oil vapor from the crank case. Easy to work with, removing the bowl to empty with each oil change. I Recommend Elites Catch Can.

I had the EE on my LS2 GTO and was amazed at how much oil it accumulated. Very high quality part.

I just installed the Ellite catch can, and as with other Elite products I have purchased, the quality is superb and it looks great.

What is all required to install an E.E. can on an LS3?? I have a VaraRam installed, so I already have the intake bellow out of the way. I will be looking to buy a catch can in Spring when I get the car out of storage.

So, is the clear or silver EE can a clear coated (painted) can?

I think I'm going to take the plunge. Anyone care to point me in the right direction for the best price on one? Thanks!

That is high praise and would steer me towards the Elite.

The Elite Can looks great and has a solid feel to it that comes from quality materials and excellent machining. When you screw it together or apart, it feels like a precision piece, no slop or play. It works as it should, fits perfectly and looks good in the engine bay.

Elite makes great products. If you are staying NA, their mount is nice. I ended up with dual Norris catch cans, due to their mounting provisions.

Well I haven't made a catch can for the base C6 yet. but functionality, pricing, and different available colors isn't very tough to beat. Once I get a base C6 to work on, I'll have something for you guys. For the moment, my ZO6 customers seem to be happy

I can't tell from the pictures, but can you remove the lower chamber to empty it while it's still attached?
