my car is making a clunk sound when i pull out of driveway or when turning. i've taken the car to the dealer and they told me is was the diff. they drained it and filled it back up. the service guy told me to drive it a couple hundred miles and it should go away, well it hasn't. Does anybody know what it could be? I'm no mechanic but it kind of sounds like it could be my front shocks. Car has only 12,200 miles on it, please help.
well just got the car back they replaced end links and bushings on front stabilizer bar and car is still making noise. the service guy told me the tech cant reproduce the noise . the funny thing is as soon as i left the dealer it made the same noise. does anybody know what it could possibly be.
Did the dealer tell you to make approximately ten figure eight turns? It's part of the TSB. Find a large parking lot and try it. I did it to mine and never had another problem.

It is tough to diagnose over the internet, but these cars are famous for making noises from the limited slip differential. There are two sets of spring loaded clutches in the diff and they make some noise when turning as they release.
Try the figure eights as suggested. If that doesn't fix it, then offer to take the service manager for a ride to show him what circumstances produce the noise.
