We have helped 100's do just this. As you may know 2009 NPP mufflers do not fit 2008 and lower, so you need the correct ones. If you use the Z06 mufflers they have a 3" over the axel pipe so you either need to install headers and a 3" x pipe or have the over the axel pipes reduced. NPP have a louder and deeper sound but if you search you can mod the Z06 mufflers to improve the sound. We have the NPP in a box, here is an install we did.
Hi, we have a few videos of the NPP with and without headers. www.nakidparts.com
Here is the process, 7 pages of full color instructions on our "NPP in a Box" vacuum system are on our site.

In my case, throw in a set of LG headers, and you have rolling thunder at the flick of a switch. The combo of the headers and the NPP in Wild gives you AMAZING sound and “HEY, LOOK AT ME!!!” volume…the tonality and sound is that of a NASCAR stock car at WOT outside the car, yet quieter and less drone inside the car than the GHL exhaust I was so fond of. The install is very straight forward, easier with a lift, but as Ed has shown with his car, you can do it on jack stands. Here are some pics and descriptions of the step by step process; you will receive complete illustrated instructions with your purchase.
NPP Mufflers waiting for Install
Factory Exhaust Removed
Drilling a ¼” hole in the rear well
Run the Vacuum Tube though the hole
Run the Vacuum tubes through existing frame locations
After dropping the rear sway bar, snake the NPP mufflers up and over
Attach the pipes to the mufflers
Connect the vacuum hoses to the NPP mufflers
Make sure your muffler pipes are straight and level
Muffler hardware done and vacuum tubing run
Connect power cable to the Seat Heater Fuse
And of course, a quick run with Ed's Polishing kit
Nakidparts = NPP in a box
That's all there is to it.....All that's left is to go out there and have a blast with your new found customized sound.
Many thanks for the guidance! The forum is a great place to get first-hand advice from guys who have experience with vettes. Will be kicking off the project this weekend. Thanks again!

You can also bolt up to your LS2 the stock Z06 exhaust headers and h pipe. Bolts right up much better sounds and much cheaper than headers. I have a setup for sale if your interested pm or email me.
SonofDreams- What exactly is the difference with the 09' NPP and 08'/older mufflers? I just picked up a set of ZR1 mufflers, are they different than the Z06 mufflers?

I bought the NPP In A Box but haven't installed it (but did run the vacuum line from the engine while the car was on the lift) and am in no rush too. They sound so good I may just leave 'em open all the time!
having had both, i am enjoying the NPPs much, much more. much deeper and louder than the Z06 mufflers. there is a difference in price, but it is worth it in the end. i was a bit disappointed in the z06 muffler, if you do choose those consider opening them up and performing the removal of the sound deadening material.
