Parked the car and everything was fine. Next day, the engine won't crank. Checked fuse, crank/starter relay and they seem fine. Battery is fully charged and there is power to operate windows, etc. Steering column won't lock, though. Any suggestions?
I don't know either. I'm pretty versed on the C-5's but not the C-6's ...but learning. Please tell us what you find. The C-5 has a TDR, Theft Deterrant Relay in the passenger footwell that operates the starter solenoid. You can hear it click when turning the key. If the starter doesn't engage and this relay did, it would have probably been a bad solenoid. I don't have a clue on the C-6 yet....sorry.
Thanks. I did jump the clutch switch after reading your post and it did not work. Also tried putting the fob in the slot and it didn't work either. I am also curious as to why the steering won't lock....

That is exactly what it's doing. The crank solenoid clicks when pressing the Start button and all the electrical circuits come alive but the engine doesn't turn.
I have also seen a Window Valet cause this problem. If you have a WV plugged into the Diagnostic Port, then remove it, discxonnect and reconnect the battery and it should start.

My car did this after tuning...I think it got hosed up. I unhooked the negative battery cable with the door open (to draw current down)...hooked the battery back up and all was fine. I think the car needed a reboot.
