Where I live I see laser ALL the time...and I get hit with laser on my way into work at least once a week. One the laser jammers detect the laser alot earlier then most radar detectors. I have the V1 and usually the laser jammer goes off for about a second then the V1 so it gives you time to slow down. is it worth the cost? one...how often are you targeted by laser? For me its worth it as I run into it all the time. Also it has probably saved me at least 4-5 tickets in the last 2 years! I have been targeted and jam the gun when he would have clocked me in at around 20+ mph over the speed limit. The nice feature is most all laser jammers have a kill switch....if not...very easy to install the kill switch...once I am targeted and jamming the gun I kill the switch and shut the laser jammer off....this allows the cop to get the reading on my car. When you are shooting laser you will learn when you are targeting vehicles out say 1,000 feet or more you are popping it usually a couple of times before you get the reading...especially with a corvette that is already very hard to get a reading on when more then 800 feet out given the vehicle angle and profile of it.
So yes a laser jammer will pay for itself. But again the question you need to ask yourself....how often do I run into laser?
You can go with a laser pro park which was the best laser jammer head I have ever used and the laser interceptor I have tested was great as well....blinder is OK....its just very heavily marketed...only reason more people know about that laser jammer. I still would chose a laser pro park dual head or the laser interceptor (quad head). Laser pro park dual heads go for around 700 or so. For the corvette running a dual head lpp (laser pro park) you would be perfect and would get a complete jam to the police gun if using it, the rear you can choose to protect or not if on a budget...again....9 times out of 10 you will be hit from laser from the front....the other time would be from the rear....lot more less of a chance of a laser attack from the rear.
