im looking at a 2006 vette to buy wanted to get some feedback on wht to look for and wht kind of price that should go wit car. im new to this car. i have an infiniti g35 and there forum is great so i figure that this one will be the same in info on newcomers.

You might also go to Carmax or Autotrader to check on some prices. That way, you can quote some facts as to why you only want to offer X.
Given the market out there, this seems high. That being said, if it's the "right" car and it's the "right" time for you, a couple of dollars here or there, spread out over the period of time you own the car, really is not that big a deal.
