Dead Battery....recommendations?
Bought my 06 in July of that year and the battery has started failing. Went out today to crank and dead! What
is everyone using for a replacement that has a good fit?

The Sears DieHard Platinum is a great battery with a 4-year free replacement, 100 month prorated warranty - a bit pricey, but IMO, worth the cost.

Batteries manufactured by Johnson Controls Battery Group, Inc have proven to be durable and high quality. Look for their name on the battery because their batteries are branded by other companies (for example Ford Motorcraft, Sears, Wal-mart, AutoZone Duralast, Optima and many others).
Although they make Optima's Red and Yellow top batteries, their conventional lead-acid batteries have proven more durable based on actual owner surveys
