Hey guys,

Looking for an upgrade to your suspension? Come to LG Motorsports for all of your shocks needs.

Bilstein's shock bodies are constructed using a unique seamless extrusion process unlike most brands. This provides an increase in strength along with high finish tolerances. The completed body is mated with a solid, induction hardened steel chrome plated and polished shaft, machined valving components and highest quality seals. Combined with extreme attention to detail, Bilstein shocks are the closest thing to being hand built.

Bilstein HD
Want an upgrade from stock but are not interested in changing springs? Pick up a set of Bilstein HD units. These completment the factory springs to give you a great ride while putting the tires firmly planted to the pavement.

Bilstein Sport

Constructed using the same high quality parts as the HD units, these Sport valved shocks are designed for the more performance oriented driver. Great for beginner and experienced HPDE drivers alike. HyperCo makes a great spring to complement these as well for a nice starter track package.

LG Motorsports Sport Shock kit

Our LG / Bilstein NON coil over shocks works well with the factory leaf springs. This is a step up from Bilstein's "Sport" and "HD" shocks and you also have the ability later to upgrade to a full Coil Over package using the same shocks.

Recently, "Inverted" is the catch phrase when referring to shocks, but our Bilstein packages for both coil over or non coil over have always been "Inverted" for all the good reasons.

In addition, our Bilstein non coil over shocks come with full Spherical bearing ends for positive wheel control and instant shock reaction.

LG Motorsports Coil Over Package

We have used these Aluminum Body Bilstein Shocks as the core of our Coil Over package for years now. The valving was dialed in by Lou and Bilstein shock engineers on the track and on the street.

We Built valving for street cars and for the race car. Of course most of you know the success that we had on track with the Bilstein/LG Coil Over package, winning races against some tough teams and drivers.

Our Coil over package that we have been building for over 8 years for the Corvette uses the best and highest quality Hypercoil springs. I know that the Corvette Market would accept nothing less than the best, so Hypercoil was our choice.

Combine the Bilstein Aluminum Nitrogen Filled Coil Over shock with the Hypercoil Springs and we have a premium coil over package that is race tested, race winning and street proven.

Our Pricing is less than 1/2 of a similar Moton or Penske package with equal performance as shown on the Race track. And our pricing is only slightly higher than the heavier steel coil overs. And for the street, we apologize for giving you more than you need. But at LG Motorsports we consider that "Value".

Give us a call today, We are more than happy to go over any project you have going!

What are the LG sport shocks going for?
Are they ideally valved for the Z06 or Z51 or base springs?

I'd also like to know what you are selling the Bilstein Sports and LG Motorsports Sports Shock Kits for?

As with our coil overs we custom tailor them to your setup. The LG Sports can also be upgraded to the coil overs at a later time if you wish to do so. The LG Sport package sells for $1495 complete with hardware.

Very much so, each package can produce different results but I can tell you, both the LG coil over package, and the Bilstein sports do not have wheel hop issues.

Anthony, How much of an upgrade are the LG bilsteins specifically valved for my Z51 springs over the current Bilstein sports I am using? Are we talking seconds on a 60 second course or are we talking 10ths?
I am very interested.

Will the HD's harden the ride of my stock 05 C6? My wife will not allow a more rough ride. I did the Z51 SWay Bars and now am considering shock upgrade.

For forum members is it worth a change out in shocks?

1)No, i would buy the sports rather than the HD they will be a bit stiffer but not objectionable.

2) very much worth it to me.

Newbie question.

Are the shocks valved taking into account the sway bars stiffness also?

If I understand correctly, sway bar stiffness will affect how quickly a shock reacts too. So, it would make sense for the shocks to be valved for both the particular spring/swaybar combination. Do I have it right?

The F55 suspension is kind of on its own in that it has an electrical controlled shock and to my knowledge does not have a replacement other than OE. You can turn this feature off and go with a normal set of shocks however, or the coil overs!
