Tried that, didnt work. The way Im measuring it, it's not like it is a little flashing, it's at least 1/4" of solid composite...the bit would dig in and it couldnt be turned by hand.

Wow, I didn't think there would be that much material there.

Good minds must think alike, I just saw those kind of drills in sears and thought it may be work...I think it will be slow process though. I couldn't find any other type of right angle drill that will work. I'm kind of running out of ideas...

I will be installing my modified (SpinFAST) intake soon and have questions about the blocked EVAP Port. I called FAST and asked what size the port opening should be (5/32, 1/8, 3/32, etc.) I was told I would have to check with my tuner as to the size the EVAP Port should be drilled to. The FAST Rep said the Intake is shipped with this Port Blocked because in some applications this port is not used. If the Corvette LS2 application requires that this port be open, then the user must determine the appropriate port size. I haven't measured the stock LS2 intake's Evap Port size as yet but was wondering if any Forum Member has done so. The Evap Port should be opened to what size?

Neither of the 2 units that arrived today were blocked. Not sure why he says they all are. Maybe the open ones are the faulty units....

While talking with the FAST Technical Support Rep yesterday I had the distinct feeling he was fabricating a story and selling me on the idea that the ports were shipped blocked. I should have asked him why some arrive blocked and others are open. I also sent them an E-Mail questioning this same issue but have not heard back. If I do I'll post here. I know this is not a big issue but just curious.

Well My port was nearly completely blocked, I don't know if you can tell in this picture or not.

I got it drilled out using a 5/32 drill bit that I have - it's got an adaptor fused to it that fits in a standard cordless drill chuck. I picked up a flexible extender from Home Depot "Easypower Isomax" for $6 that worked great. Here's the rig:

I will see if it helps or not and report back. I was getting the check gas cap pretty much every morning.

Well it looks like quick Ag had the solution. Spin had my manifold when I heard from quick Ag and drilled mine out as well as ported it out. So far problem is gone. I am hoping this has been the issue thats been affecting a few of us with the FAST 92. Thanks to: Spin, quick Ag, and everyone else that helped out.
