I just had my stock ls2 clutch replaced. The reason for replacing is that I have added cam/heads/gears etc. and at high rpm shifts the clutch would try and stick to the floor. I didn't notice the clutch slipping at all but I am sure it was a little. With the stock clutch I had to let the clutch almost all the way out ( away from the floor) before it would engage. I assumed this was because I needed a new clutch.
I just had a textralia z-grip put in and it does the same thing. I can actually shift the car with pushing the clutch less than half way in. Is this normal? Does anyone else have the same issue. I always though that a good clutch would engage very close to the floor.
