Default 4.10 diff install, weird problem, please help?

Hello,

Got my 4.10's diff installed and after a few hundred break in miles I started to get on it. I have a weird problem that did not happen before the gears. For whatever reason in 2nd gear only, when I punch it and get to 5700-5800rpm it acts like the rev limiter is set there and bounces back and forth. It does not do this in any other gear whatsover. The rev limiter it set to 6700rpm in the HP tune. I can run it thru 1st, then 2nd, 3rd and so forth. Or I can take if from a low 2nd gear roll and the same thing happens. Does the HP software have to be programmed rev limiters for each gear? If so, I still don't understand why it did not happen before the diff swap. Please advise.

Thanks

Hard to answer without a completed profile, Automatics are different from Manuals!

autos go to vcm editor and make the appropiate changes! Speedo

Sorry I should of said it is a M6. I have never heard of anyone putting a 4.10 diff in an auto. That would be one steep 1st gear!

Thank you very much! I found a thread called mystery rev limiter after gear change or so.
