The worst that will happen without a tune is you might get a check engine light, and won't get the most power out of the headers. I know people that went a year without a tune
Your problem is that the bullets with the headers is going to be UNGODLY loud. I know, I just got rid of my bullets because of that same issue. I have offroad headers and the bullets were totally obnoxious. goodluck with your new nascar.

I guess that means i'm going to love the LG's I just ordered with my SLP Loudmouth I (louder than bullets)
I've had same set-up for about 1 1/2, I love the noise it makes but sometimes its just very annoying. Keep it above 1300 rpms it won't be so bad, talking to the passenger or on the phone is kind of annoying at times. Good choice regardless.
Thanks for the replies guys, I really want a NASCAR sound, I will admit it, I am a NASCAR junkie
I will post some videos when it is all in
I have to wait for the new and latest LG headers with apparently better fittings, connectors ect ??
Holding my little cheapie camera while turning onto the merge ramp on the local interstate was a bit of a challenge, but I can tell you that the sound is much better in person.
I receive a LOT of compliments on the sound.
Downshifts (I have an A6) are every bit as good, as well.
You're................going............. to ...................just................. .LOVE IT!
Again, with no cats it will NOT sound like the video that was posted above. Trust me, I just did this last week. It only took me one test drive to decide that they are WAY too loud. goodluck, and I told ya so.
