I am considering a CAI for my 08 LS3 coupe. I already have a diablosport tune in the vehicle, I would like to know what intake system would give me the most bang for my buck?

most people use the Vararam, but some people have reported issues with the quality and fitment, but do show the best gains from dyno #s.

Ed at tkoperformance is a forum vendor and can help you with any questions, and give you a good deal. give him a call

Vararam will get the job done.

Vararam, but you should notice a bigger gain when the car is moving at speed than on a dyno due to its design.

A true, bottom-feeding CAI isn't going to make a huge difference in performance on its own but it does help. Each piece of the modification 'puzzle' is valuable to end up with the final result. Be aware of the pros and cons before you do any modification.

There are several popular brands of cold air intakes...Vararam, the Callaway Honker but my preference is the Lingenfelter high-flow intake. Like with any bottom-feeding intake I try to avoid plowing through deep standing water but I've driven through torrential downpours without any ill effects. For performance and quality IMO you just can't go wrong with Lingenfelter.

I really like the Lingenfelter but the price for the LS3 unit is !! I know it's a quality peice but it is pricey.

The tune by itself woke the car up quite a bit. I have the 6sp manual and the NPP exhaust and I have noticed that it idles a little higher, and I pretty much spin the rear tires all through 1st gear.
