Some argue that the short throw shifter takes more force (due the shorter distance) and that can seem excessive (especially if you are a 165# weaking like me!)? A larger concern is that when driving on the track, I know its very easy to tell which gear I am in w/the stock shifter by simply touching it to confirm position. I have been considering trying either the MGW or the Callaway this season and I am concerned that with the gears closer together, I may loose that feedback. I definitely don't want to have to look down or look at the tach when I am at 160+ mph approaching the chicane at the Glen. Do any of you have track time with the MGW and can comment?
THANKS!
