Raw Gas Smell...
After a car wash and a long drive today I've started smelling raw fuel inside my car... I keep telling myself I'm just imagining it, and I can't find any leaks, but I take this sort of issue very seriously... Has anyone ever had a gas leak spring up in their car? Any potential trouble spots? I've looked at the fuel rails but can't spot anything...
The car runs perfectly fine so far, and I can't find any drips, so I'm guessing if it is leaking, it can't be leaking much.

any leak is dangerous Id have someone help you and look again. you could have a bad gas cap, or it might not be sealed correctly. That would definately smell inside the car too.
I hope your not a smoker
Check around the filler neck/vent tube. Seems I remember seeing a photo of the drivers rear wheel well removed and the filler neck was somewhat like a C5. Only a small plastic panel between the passenger compartment and the filler hose.
I have smelled gas in the past. Sometimes it's actually been another car and even though it worried me, it never came back. But other times I've found leaks either in the engine compartment or back at the gas tank. Just do a good search around the engine compartment and look for standing liquid. Then look under the car after you let it run for a while and see if a puddle forms.
Good luck and you are smart to be worried. Be safe.
I doubt this could be it but it's worth mentioning anyway...many of us know what happens when the gas tank on a C6 gets filled/topped off at the gas station, the fuel shoots out and gets into the 'fuel catch' cavity/area and down the little drain/'run off' below in front of the rear tire. That alone could possibly cause some lingering fuel odor, especially on warmer days like the last few have been here in NJ.

I can speak about the C-5's but don't know if the C-6's have the same issues or not. C-5's, the crossover tube would crease and crack resulting in a leak/fumes. Its probably too early for this kind of issue on the C-6's but if the design is the same...who knows. The earlier C-5's have an externally mounted fuel filter that is known to leak and it hung right over the exhaust. I doubt the C-6's have that design, but truly I don't know.
As already mentioned, the one area on an overflow would be the place to look and the cap itself.
On my 04 C5 less than 18k miles before I bought it the VIN report said the right side tank had been replaced, no kidding, a few months later I smelled gasoline, took it in and they had to replace the left tank.
On the C6 build the AAfuel pump in the rocker panel had 2 leaks in the first builder install. Dallas Performance fixed them...

Didn't have it in a car, but I did have a gas leak in the cockpit of an airplane at 2500 feet. That got interesting real quick. Fuel was trickling out the back of the fuel pressure guage all over the carpet in the passenger's foot well.

Yea, that sucked.
WOW... That really puts car problems in context... I can pull over any time, but when you're flying, that's an entirely different story
I wonder why the plane didn't use an electronic gauge?
I had a problem with gas leak in the summer last year. After a drive on the highway I started to smell gas and I took the car to the dealer right away. It turned out to be a pin hole in the fuel line located above the exhaust system. It was replaced under warrenty but it took a week for them to complete the job because they had wait for the parts to come from Detroit, I'm in Washington State
Hope you are able to find out whats causing your leak.
