Default What's with the LS3 Fast?

Iv'e been waiting for 18 months for the new Fast Intake for a LS3 Corvette! Everyone was talking about the new 102m Fast for the LS3. Have not heard a peep in the last 2 weeks or so. Does anyone have one installed on a LS3 Corvette? Does anyone know of a 102 throttle body that will work on a LS3 Vette? Any Dyno numbers with a 102m or a 90m throttle body installed on a C6 with the 102m Fast? Can anybody HELP ME????

I will be installing one in the coming weeks. A friend of mine is 30th on the list and this is going on a LS7 with L92 heads making 600rwhp. He is using a L76 intake and the LSXR should make a nice improvement.

What throttle body are you going to use. I don't think the recomended 102m throttle body is available for the Corvette. If something changed in the last week or so....PLEASE let me know. Iv'e been waiting for a more effecient intake for quite a while..Lots of talk but I haven't seen one installed on a Vette. Thanks

Default Stock throttle body? f.a.s.t. manifold? 92mm, 102mm?

What are the stock sizes on an LS2 for the throttle body(in mm). (and manifold). I'm wondering if the 92mm F.A.S.T. throttle body is much bigger. I know callaway makes, probably a good one. I'm gonna call on monday and get the sizes. Then theres the fast intake manifold. I know they make 102mm. Does that work on an LS2? I'm wondering what my next step is. Right now I have a full exhaust, callaway honker, and tune. (almost 400rwhp) Lets start threading. What is next? 2006 Ls2 Corvette,.... everyday driver, and CT club corvette member. FAST, ported throttle body, heads/cams, and headers. You'll be at around 475 to 525 depending on how aggressive you go with the heads/cams.

So....Lets get back to my original post. Has any body installed a 102mm Fast on a C6 Corvette with the LS3 engine? And if so...What 102mm throttle body works on this application. We all know that the Fast 92 works well on a LS2 with a 92mm throttle body. But thats not my question. Iv'e been waiting a long time for an aftermarket intake for my 08 LS3 Corvette. Just because the 102mm Fast and a 102mm throttle body works on a LS3 engine doesn't mean it works on a Corvette that needs a different electroniically controlled throttle body. I wish Fast or some other vendor would jump in and help clarify this problem. The answer would be for some one to come out with an electronic 102mm throttle body! Thanks...MIKE

My understanding is the 102mm TB will not work w/ c6 and dyno testing gains were w/ the 102mm TB

CALL MONGILLO MOTORSPORTS. Ask for Bill. Tell him Trevor told you to call. Have him port ypur stock throttle body, MANIFOLD, MAF sensor, remove screens, port intake runners, this guys amazing. he built the five brothers mid engine 5.7 LS1. 203-907-4443. +60rwhp, assuming exhaust and tune already

Trevor: Stock intake and throttle body have allready been done. I'm looking for more HP and Torque. Thats why I'm interested in the new 102 Fast for the LS3. The problem is the 102m throttle body. No one seems to be making one for the LS3 Corvette application.

Thanks for the info. I'm still going to wait to see some numbers on the LS3. Looks like the Kateck dyno numbers were on the Ls7 block and were not calculated to the rear wheels. But this is a nice improvement in torque with the 90m throttle body.
