problem with windows
I'm having a problem with my driver's side window - upon closing the door, the window raises, but ends up outside and over the window seal/edge. is the synching off? any ideas how to fix? passenger window is fine.

I have a similar problem...somtimes when i close the door it raises outside of the rubber door seal. I have reset the window indexing and it seems to fix it for a short period of time. For no apparent reason it starts doing it again out of the blue. Its terrible bc when you close the door and the window dosnt hit right it sounds like its going to break somthing...i think i will go to the dealer soon before I break somthing. Prolly a good idea for you as well.

i mentioned it to my dealer but he said it was some type of synching error. he gave me a "fix" for it, but it didn't work. i wonder if its a problem with the door? I've found that if i re-open the door and slam it pretty hard, the problem doesn't occur. but i don't want to keep slamming the door. if anyone has any thoughts, they'd be appreciated.

It sort of sounds like the window angle adjustment has come lose or changed. You would need to remove the inside door panel to get to it and see what's up.
