Default motor mounts

I've got what feels like bad wheel hop so I've been thinking about those phadt mounts but my mechanic says I'm not going to like them cause I'll feel everyengine vibration ...I thought thats what harmonic balancers were for?????I've cracked my headers at the collector do you think it was because of motor rocking?????

Pfadt now offers a slightly softer bushing option for their engine mounts, and they really do not transmit noise that your mechanic is more then likely used to from say a solid engine mount. They will help with some wheel hop, by stabilizing the drive train. Have you seen the video that Pfadt hosts on their web page, showing the amount of movement in the stock engine mounts?

It is possible the mounts caused the crack in the headers, although what brand are they? Its somewhat unusual to have this happen on new models, I have seen it on C5's that are driven hard.

If you are interested in the mounts I can show you some more information with installation photos and a better description of how they feel. Plus I have the items in stock and at a great deal.

Hope this may help
