i just recently install the halltech killer bee and diablo predator on my 08 c6 and to make a long story short car lost traction last night in wet weather and i missed 4th gear and now everytime i go to put the car into 4th it grinds and there is a loud noise. I plan on calling tomororrow to get a service appiontment set up but do u guys think its nessisary to switch back to stock intake before taking it in. I plan on setting the tune back to stock anyway

I dont want to make you worry, but if its a major issue and they find out that its been tuned, they will more than likely void your powertrain warranty and you will have to pay for repairs out of pocket. Even if you put your tune back to stock, they can tell that its been tuned. They may not be able to tell if its been tuned at the local dealership level, but if its a major warranty repair they will call in a regional manager or something like that to make the final decision and they will check. The air intake should not matter. I have a mod friendly service manager as long as there is no tune. Best piece of advice is to be up front with the service manager and they may work with you.

They are going to have to prove that your tune directly affected your tranny problem. Since your tranny isnt conneceted to the motor which has the tune there shouldnt be a problem.
