Default Header and Dyno tune

I have c6 z06 and I just order the Kooks header with cat x-pipe and K&N Intake, but the place I order the parts thay told me I need to get dyno tune. Is this true????
If this is true, I live in SOCAL any dyno tune shop???

You dont NEED to get it dyno-tuned, but it would certainly help, because your airflow is going to be vastly different than it was stock.

You will eventually throw a code if you do not get it tuned. Your rear
o2 sensors will not get hot enough and will therefore give you an error code. your tuner can turn those off. You will be leaving horsepower on the table if you do not have it tuned.
