Default 08 outer tie rod ends needed

need replacement tie rod ends (12,000mi) have melted the rubber bushings/boots any recommendations (have cooling ducts) any brand that will hold up to track days better than stock?

Get some of these...

Bumpsteer kit from Baer, about $165.00.





Not only will you not melt your tie rod ends, you'll stop your car from "darting" to the left or right when driving on grooved highway.

Are you sure of that last claim? If your experience was that improvement I'd guess it was the alignment and not a bump steer change.

Grooves do not change the bump of the tire so there will be no change....

Anyways, I'd have to guess the stock bump is very low to start with

Yes I'm sure. At least that's my experience with the crappy rutted highways we have around here. The "grooves" I meant are the tire ruts made in asphalt and concrete by heavy truck traffic.
