I am looking at a set of repro, zr1 spider wheels, black. but I want 18x11 in the rear for the tires I need to hook up. so I called and they said they would sell me 4 18x8.5,s , I called weldcraft and they said it would not be a problem with widening them and not hurting the finish on the face, I think I can touch up the inner wheel so as it is not noticeable from the widening process. does any body see a problem with this. I know they may be alittle heavier but I like the look.

looks good, I may have to hold off alittle while after the diff and clutch purchase yesterday and now the ECS supercharger today. I was going to do the wheels and tires first but couldn,t pass up the deal on the supercharger. if I would just stay off this forum I would quit spending money.

That is why many are simply choosing to mod their stock wheels vs. buying new aftermarket expensive sets.
