I need help guys. My radio turns on but no sound. what could it be.

Blew the fuse to your amp? Had this trouble on another car, head unit came on but no sound until I replaced the fuse for the amp.

That happened to me once or twice. I have nav, I just turned the radio completely off then turned it back on again & it worked fine.

checked fuse and turnd off radio, nothing

Mine in my '07 does that sometimes. I turn it off and back on and it usually works. Mostly on FM stations.

nothing, I check the amp fuse and it looks ok also changed it with another,(nothing) also turnd the radio off and on nothing.

I followed the Diablo instructions and pulled the radio fuse to load a tune. Afterward my radio would not turn on. I double checked the fuse and everything was fine. After the car sat overnight it magically worked.
You might also try disconnecting the battery ground for 10 seconds and reconnecting it.

Trade it on a C6 and it will work!
Sounds like maybe your amp quit working for some reason.

Don't know about a C5, but I think it's under the passenger seat on the C6.
