So i saw a post on this but a diff problem then mine.. My batt volt at idle is about 13 and while driving at 14.. Checked alternator and batt and they are fine.. no check engine.. however this happened twice in one month where at a stand still the idle dropped where the car was about to die.. Could that be the ETC, electronic throttle control, on the throttle body?? Not in the mood of buying a new throttle body for 500 bucks and that not be the problem..
I seriously doubt that its a TB issue. Check your battery terminals for proper tightness. Your getting a charging system fault. The power out of the alternator comes out of the field terminal in the rear of the alternator and then it goes to the terminal on the starter solenoid. From there it goes to the battery. Check all of those connections for a cood clean and tight connection.

i was thinking that if my batt has and holds power then its fine.. and the alternator generates current at 14v so thats fine.. doesnt that meant that my electrical lines are fine??
