Default Bolt on Performance

A friend referred me to GHL Motor sports for an exhaust system but it appears that they are out of business. Does any have an opinion on the following Exhaust Systems

1. Mid America Motorworks Quad Cruiser C6 Corvette Exhaust System
2. Corvette Corsa Sport Exhaust System

I do not want any resonation.

Any other suggestions for bolt ons to try to get to 500 RWHP

Thanks

Chris

500rwhp with bolt ons is tough. A good head/cam package with supporting bolt ons will get you there, though.

A blower will get you there and it is a bolt on.

Before answering your questions with any type of useful answer, we have questions for you:

What's your budget?

What's your timeframe to reach 500 RWHP

Who is doing the wrenching?

I am in California and in our county we have to pass smog every two years. This may limit what I can do at any budget. What do you guys think.

Next question?

Does anyone have experience with Forgiato Wheels.

Don't we all have some kind of a budget.

I have about 15,000 to spend on upgrades if I choose. I would like to get the biggest bang for the buck

Thanks for all you help

Best bang for the buck would be F/I. Can also be CARB compliant. Keep the boost low and still see around 550 RWHP. Most bolt on mods aren't going to be emissions legal. Heads and cam with long tubes and some porting will get you to 500 RWHP and will cost you as much if not more than the F/I and not be CARB compliant.

There are not many (and I cant think of one that comes to mind) CARB legal camshafts currently. Not to say that they would not pass emissions, you just are leaning on a chance.

You may look into a pro charger or magna charger system which may in fact be CARB compliant and also would allow you to boost engine output to the levels you are seeking.

Good luck none the less, and if you have any specific questions, our team at the shop always has free advice and input.
