Service charging system
Anyone else with a moderate or more cam get this light on periodically at idle. Any way to get rid of it. Talked to my tuner and he didn't think there was a code to turn it off or change the threshold for notification.
Any ideas or solutions?

Ive delt with this a LOT on C5s. Heres some things to check just to make sure there isnt a problem:
Check your battery terminals for proper tightness. Your getting a charging system fault. The power out of the alternator comes out of the field terminal in the rear of the alternator and then it goes to the terminal on the starter solenoid. From there it goes to the battery. Check all of those connections for a good clean and tight connection.

VERY sage advice Bill. Usually when the car tells you there's a problem there is! I should have mentioned that.
Assuming all checks out well, it seems the C6 with an underdrive pulley often has this problem. I turned off the code a long time ago and have had no electrical problems before or after turning off the code.
