Alternator failure now WILL NOT START
My '06 has 59k miles on it with a 60 k warranty.
It left me stranded with a bad altinator 250miles from home. I had the alternator replaced at the Chevy dealer (new). It drove home fine with a full charge of 14.3 volts shown on both the dic and the dial gauges. This morning it wouldn't start, HOWEVER all lights shine bright and the radio works. no other sign of gremelins other than failure to start.
Battery is 3 mo. old all connections are tight at the alternator as well as the battery.
Any ideas?

I dont have a C6 service manual yet but, sounds like the signal/voltage isnt getting to the starter solenoid. That where I would start.

A previously depleted battery will not hold a charge well again--thats why I though a new one is in order.

it drove home 200+ miles from the dealer that replaced the alt. plus the lights are bright. I had it towed to the dealer that's local to me today...it's still under warranty.

Sounds funny to me. I'm sure it was just the battery but you get a new starter also.
