Quick Vararam question....
I just picked up a Vararam to install on my '08 and I was looking through all the posts about cutting the shroud. The question that pops into my head is....why does the shroud have to be cut so perfectly? Most everybody spends a lot of time trimming and trimming until it is just right but I saw one member who mentioned he just took the shroud off completely and left it off. Is the time spent on the shroud strictly for looks or is there some other reason I would want it to fit tightly around the Vararam?

Just to make sure the Vararam passes through the shroud without deforming it and putting unecessary stress on any parts. As far as looks, get the shroud cover from Pipedreams and looks much better.
but you can just cut it so it fits
