Default LS3 throttle body

Where can I get a performance throttle body for a 2008 LS3?
VMax wants one sent to them for modification. I can't remove mine & wait for the turnaround.

You don't, they send you one that's ported & you send them yours for your core charge return. Mine works great

That is what I am doing, but the wait is 2-3 weeks because they are not getting cores returned soon enough.

Put your name on the waiting list. My core is due to arrive there Wednesday, so that'll be one more to be processed.

I gained .02-.03 on my 60', same track, same day and hour, same lane. Two passes before install and two after with no tuning change.

I will have shots of the next one this week and can e-mail some to you. Getting too aggressive on the removeal of material will cause airflow error codes. In answering what is too much....dont get within 1 inch of the blade's swing. Also just level things out. The TB was designed with the angled approach the stock airbridge makes, and most cars dont run that airbridge for long. Sharpen/thin the leading edge to be less of a target.

That's correct. I heard that from Mike there, so I sent my core in immediately at the same time putting in an order to get in whatever line there was. That was over 3 weeks ago, but I'm told a ported TB is now "In Transit" for me and I should receive it Tuesday......I'll be like a kid in a candy store!
