i am considering the following;
a very mild cam. the so called "hot cam" from gm supposed to add 50hp (which i seriously doubt) or a cam from LG motorsports. their gx1 (mild) or their gx2 (mid range). i want to add power everywhere!! peak numbers are useless. i want to add hp and tq from 2500 rpm thru 6500 rpm.. and my goal is 50 hp and 40tq..

It's a fairly mild cam as far as lift goes (about .550 I think with our 1.7 rockers), but you can still make decent power out of it.
I remember some LS1 fbody guys pulling 400rwhp with it on stock heads.

I have one of there Whiplash cams and its a beast.
At 7200 feet I dyno'd 424 RWHP with the below mods.
Subtract: SpinMonster tune, SpinMonster Ported Fast 92 out of the formula.
I have not re-tuned the car yet. Since moving to Md.
Upon my return from this deployment I will be adding a set TrickFlow 235s, then a re-dyno w/ re-tune.
