i know wolfe doesn't make one for a C6 vert...i said i was going to talk to wolfe and see if they would be willing to make one for the C6 vert since there was alot of interest on here and that i would find out more by friday night...i stated they make one now for a C6 couple b/c mine is the first C6 coupe they have done...
now on to my UPDATE for C6 verts from Wolfe Race Craft:
I contacted Dan today at Wolfe Race Craft in Forth Worth, Tx and his is willing to make a C6 vert roll bar. All he needs is a local C6 vert owner to contact him at 817 275 8899 . He will use this persons car to measure and make the jig for the roll bar. Once this persons roll bar is done and installed in the car, the jig will be ready to fab C6 vert roll bars for anyone.
Would he be willing to share the jig spec's with my guy up here in Canada? It would save him the time or recreating the same thing ... or I wonder what the cost would be to have the roll bar pieces shipped up here???
Will this set up maintain the operation of the power top?
I'm 6' 4", so my seat is all the way back, and with my helmet on, it is almost touching the roof ... so hopefully this set up will work with my car.
I posted some pics a while back, I'll get them up again.
I had one done for NCCC Events that passed SCCA and NHRA Specs in 2007. I don't know if anything has changed since, but I haven't been bothered at any track yet.
Call Max G Suspension. They are in PA. Rick Ellis from Highland Daytona Racing made mine. Ask for Rick or Bob when you call, they should remember me, Mike with the Blue Convertible. Almost looks factory.

he needs a car in the dfw to build a jig first since he doesn't have one yet for the C6 vert...he needs that first before he can do anything else...
Still interested! Not sure about driving out to Texas or Penn. to get one installed though. Hope we can get a definitive answer here eventually, here's another bump to the top.

Thanks for checking! When I first called around to a few places last summer, I got the same type of response. I'd really rather not be a guinea pig unless 1) it's at a significant discount and/or 2) it's from a very reputable corvette roll bar creator.
The orange c6 vert with the tan top was running at Willow Springs IR this last weekeend with a bunch of guys in the socal section for the corvette challenge. Apparently these guys at http://advanceoffroad.com/ put it togehter for him. I emailed them and will share anything information I can gather about the specifics of the setup. By the way, the shop's located in southern California in Torrance.
