Default HELP-Brake Pipe Connector Stripped

So I am installing Z51 rotors and calipers and replacing the rubber hoses with steel braided. On the last wheel and the hose connection at the pipe does not spin freely as the others. Put on the new hose and made sure no cross-thereading and re-tighten. Safe to say that I'm not even half way seated and I can't turn the pipe connector anymore. Take it off and it's stipped on one side.
I don't own a flange tool and my die set seems to not work on this 3/8 and pitch.
Any suggestions? Trying to see where the next connector is for the pipe and just buy a replacement section. Not like there's a ton of room under the car and I have no brakes to drive it my ramps.
Well, at least I didn't break it off into the steel hose.
Thanks all.

the thread is actually m10x1.0 if you want to get the correct die set, although I don't know if I would trust that as a permanent fix. Replacing the pipe is probably your best bet. If there is enough slack in your new stainless lines, you could also just get a new fitting, cut the hard line, and reflare it with the new fitting on.

Default Common problem

As always, Corvette Pilot is right on. There is also a very long and detailed thread on all the various fixes for this problem that was done awhile back. Hopefully it was added to the general information file. If not you can search for it using "brake lines", etc.

Thanks guys. The proper die was exactly what I needed to know. Finally tracked one down and got a good re-cut on it. It's not leaking. Cutting the pipe was my last resort given the limited room. Once again you good people in the CF got me through this.
