From what I understand, the C6 Z06 and base C6 cradle are interchangable. I'm wondering if I can put a C6 Z06 cradle in a C5 (partially for weight savings, and partially hoping to be able to use the '08+ steering rack).

So does anyone know if a C6 cradle will fit on a C5, and if so, does it move the LCA mounts? I know the ABS/trac mount is probably different, but I'm ok with relocating or eliminating that.

Edit: Yes it fits. I put a C6Z magnesium cradle in my C5 race car. This saves 11 lbs and lets you run the (much better) 2009+ C6 steering rack.
